Logging into the System (New Applicants)

 

Can I use my parent’s or a friend’s email address on my application?

  • All applicants must provide their personal or school email address on their application (this should match your login email address). All communication from The Sapelo Foundation will go directly to the student and not a parent/guardian, friend, or relative. For The Sapelo Foundation to process an application and to award a scholarship, the student filling out the application must sign all documents, terms and requirements, along with providing consent for The Sapelo Foundation to communicate with the student’s college/university.
  • Applications submitted that are not filled out by the student will not be accepted.

I forgot my password. What can I do?

  • On the login page of the scholarship portal, there is a link to reset your password. Once you’ve reset your password, please store it in a safe place. You will need this every time you log into the scholarship portal.

I want to change my login email address. What do I do?

  • After logging into the application system, highlight your name and select the drop-down. When the drop-down appears, please select View/Edit profile.  You can change your email address here.
  • Your login email address must match the preferred email address that is listed on your application.
  • Please note: The “new” email address you enter will be your new login/user name for the application system. Please store this login email address and the password in a safe place. You will need this every time you log into the scholarship portal.

How do I log back into my application if I need to finish or when I’ve completed my application?

  • Select the Apply/Login link on our About Scholarships or Eligibility Requirements page based on your applicant type (i.e. New or Returning). In the upper right-hand corner of the main application page, select the Login On the login page, enter the email address and password  that was used to submit the application. If you forgot your password, please select the Forgot password? link and follow the instructions on how to reset your password.

  • On the login page of our scholarship portal is a link for you to reset your password. Once you’ve reset your password, please store it in a safe place as you will need this every time you log into the scholarship portal and when you reapply for the scholarship.

I forgot or no longer have access to the email address I used to apply for the scholarship program. How can I log in?

  • You will need to create a new account to fill out your returning application.

I logged in with my old email address, but I want to change it to my new email address. What do I do?
